1. Figure Ground Relationship: I chose this specific photo from the internet becuase in one way t shows a woman's leg in a high heel, but when looked at in a different perspective it appears to be a man's foot in dress pant. This is a perfect definition of FGR in the sense it depends which image the eye brings forward, because both are present.

2. Asymmetrical Balance: I took this photo myself. The golf ball takes up one side of the screen leaving an unbalanced, or asymmetrical feel to the photo but also allows the viewer to peer into the background even though the photos main focus is to the left.

3. Cool Colors: I chose this photo because of the blue walls and the cool colors of the bottles. The cooler colors such as blue and (not present green.) give the feeling of relaxation or calm. This is a good representation of both.

4. Warm Colors: This is one of my favorite photos because even though I do not like Coke products the red is a vibrant warm color as is the woman's shirt who is standing in the backround along with the orange from the chip bag on the left side of the screen.

5.Lighting (Chiaroscuro)- I love the effects of Chiaroscuro. It gives her an eerie feeling because of the harsh lighting from above which keeps some details of her body hidden from light. This leaves for a more dramatic look.

6. Perspective (one point)- While this is not my favorite photo I could have used, I do enjoy how the lattice pulls your viewer back into the photo past the gazeebo.

7. Apparent Movement- In this photo my friends were playing basketball and the movement in the photo is quite obvious. With the guy in the gray with knees bent it shows he's going to attempt to get the ball, whilethe guy in the blue is shooting the ball as you can see with the one hand still lingering on the ball.

8. Gestalt- In this photo the Gestalt theory is used in proving a point. It uses the similarity factor with all the oil wells drilling in a row all in black. With a singular plant making a statement.

9.Sign- This photo very obviously shows the sign of children present. It is a caution sign which is symbolic with the two figures a mother and child walking, most times these are placed in school zones to make people more aware and cautious while driving.

10. Codes- While I think Cingular did an amazing and creative job creating the cingular bars commercial, I believe it becomes repetitive. The bars change over time but yet in every different scene it is the same usage of the towering bars whether its actual bars, houses, or people leaving the message to be encoded. If someone had never seen cell phone signal bars they might not understand the message.
